Presbysun is a pair of reading and sun glasses for middle-aged and elderly women who suffer from presbyopia, an inability to focus on near objects that usually starts after the age of 40. The design is inspired by the scoubidou knotting technique where two or more elastic bands of different colors are knotted together in various ways. When exposed to the sun the user can choose to wear only the sunglasses and keep the eyeglasses on her head. When the user needs to read, she simply lowers the eyeglasses which fit perfectly on the sunglasses. This way you can read comfortably without being bothered by the sun and be fashionable at the same time. Since the Presbysun is also a fashion accessory a variety of colors are available.
