Al Bahar Residence

Qornayel, Lebanon

The project is located in Qornayel, Lebanon within a site area of 2790 sq.m. The site overlooks a picturesque view of the mountains and the horizon of the sea.

Inspired by the rural aspect of the site, the intention is to create a village house that opens up to nature; hence the fragmented layout.

The one-floor house is composed of three major stone blocks that are connected by a concrete volume piercing through. The fragmentation of the volume allows nature to blend within the spaces as each enjoys the picturesque views of the context. Through this interconnection of patios, spaces, and landscape, the house sits harmoniously in rapport with nature.
